NUV Working Groups

NUV is a flat organisation where its members team up and look into a topic of interest. Working groups’ sizes and their scope always vary, but the most important part is a sense of curiosity, a passion for the greater good, and a keen interest for the built environment.

Please see below a list of the active working groups.

For more info about each of the working groups or if you think of something new that you want to explore, feel free to contact the NUV mail; we’ll make sure it ends up in the right place.

København 2.0

NUV wrote a book! København 2.0. The finger plan and all that followed were a great success, but to keep up with an ever changing world and needs, it's time to think of a new democratic, more just version of urbanism for Copenhagen.

NUV Walk

NUV is coming together to explore different neighborhoods of the city, different urbanities, and to find out what Copenhagen and its surroundings are about. Some walks are about exploring lesser known parts, others are about seeing something old with a new perspective. Others have a specific theme, others are simply just about spending time together. It’s all about being curious.

Jakarta

There is a seaside area in Jakarta that captured our attention. It is an orphanage placed in a small marginalised community, and we’ve set up on the ambitious road to help them create the collective and the space they want and dream of.

Future Neighbourhoods

We’re looking into how latent urban spaces in Copenhagen are used and what potential they have in transforming the neighbourhood. We aim to boost utopian thinking and, for now, we’ve started with Carlsberg Byen and Nørrebro.
