What we do

A multidisciplinary platform to incubate and accelerate ideas in the built environment

What We Do

  • Working Groups – Independent, member-led teams developing projects, publications, and events.

  • Public Events – Debates, lectures, and urban walks exploring the future of city-making.

  • Collaborative Projects – Books, exhibitions, and campaigns that amplify new voices and foster dialogue.

Our work spans from academic reflection to creative production. Always with a focus on how cities can evolve more justly and sustainably.

Join or Start a Working Group

Working groups are the core of New Urban Voices.
Each group focuses on a specific theme of their own choosing. It can be everything from housing to mobility, heritage, climate adaptation, and more.
The working group defines its own process and goals.

To start a new group, gather at least two members and submit a short project description at one of our monthly meetings.

Working groups decide their own methods and outputs, from opinion pieces and exhibitions to research or policy proposals.
